Wakeford was initially created as a hybrid back in 1991 using a very old-school UBC Chemo cutting that I was growing at the time. I pollinated it with a massive, wide-leafed indica male from what THSeeds was selling then as OB-G13 (G13 x Skunk #1)—a seriously skunky specimen. The results were incredible: lime-green plants loaded with rock-hard buds that ranked among the strongest cannabis any of us had ever smoked.

I thought that original cutting was long gone, but last year I ran into a lady from Victoria who handed me a revived clone of it. Turns out I’d passed the cutting to Steve Tuck years earlier, and he’d shared it with her. This version is even better than I remembered—pure wow factor. Wakeford 1.0 female seeds come directly from that exceptional revived cutting.

Expect two standout phenotypes, both excellent and smoking almost identically. One leans heavier toward the pure Chemo side, while the other fully expresses the hybrid vigor and has lab-tested at 28% THC.
