Whimsical Wizard
Whimsical Wizard is one of my favourite hybrids to breed, and everyone who’s smoked her has loved her. She’s also surprisingly potent. A quarter of the phenos we tested came in at 25% THC or higher, and one standout reached 26.4%.
She’s built as a fresh twist on the classic Skunk #1 recipe. First we crossed Santa Marta Colombian Gold with Acapulco Gold to make our “24K Gold.” Then, in place of Skunk #1’s Afghan parent, we used the original sativa-leaning OG Kush we sourced years ago, back when OG Kush was still a single, pure strain. Three prime 24K Gold males pollinated that OG Kush.
Flavours run from fruity to skunky. Phenos that lean toward the Colombian Gold and OG side bring classic skunk and kush notes, while the Acapulco Gold side brings bright green apple and fresh, fruity sweetness.
She hits hard, like a freight truck barrelling downhill, but in the happiest, most uplifting way. It’s like a whimsical wizard casting an optimistic spell that flips your mood to happy-go-lucky euphoria. It reminds me of our old Magic Carpet Rider logo, and I can practically feel the wind in my hair.
She’s easy to grow, high-yielding and ready in 9–10 weeks. If you want something truly different from today’s common genetics, with that magical, joyful high, she’s perfect for you. You won’t be disappointed.
